1. U.S. Flannel Shirt and Trousers, OD, Special
Standard issue shirt worn by all troops in the Army and Air Corps personnel throughout the War. Made from "mustard" color wool serge cloth.
The "Special" indicates that this shirt has gas proof features. Introduced in 1942, the "Specials" were later required for all troops
participating in the Normandy Invasion. These have a convertible collar, no placket, gas flap on the chest, gussets on each cuff, size and
spec labels.
2. M1941 Field Jacket.
The Field Jacket was part of the initial clothing issue to all troops serving in the Army, Army Air Forces and the Marine Corps.

5. Service Shoe, Type II
Standard service shoe (lowboot) issued in WWII. This is the second model (the first model (M1939) had an all leather sole) and was the most
common shoe for soldiers in the army and air corps. It features chrome tanned russet brown leather upper, toe cap, leather sole, rubber heel
and half soles. For field use, this was worn with the M1938 Leggings.
6. Service Shoe, Reverse Uppers
They were to be issued overseas only. For field use, this was worn with the M1938 Leggings.
7. Underwear
Tank top, boxer shorts and cushion sole socks.
